In the 60’s, Water skiing was taking off….Elvis was crushing it in Acapulco and the sky was the limit: Tony K was there…just getting his feet wet and learning how to ski. In the 70’s, innovation was budding, and things like the Kneeboard were invented: Tony K was there…becoming multiple time National Champion in the emerging sport. In the 80’s the Michelob and Coors Water Ski Tours took off and water skiing was one of the biggest sports on television: Tony K was there….hot dogging, hang gliding and freestylin’ his way onto Magazine covers and TV Commercials. In the 90’s innovation led the way once again, with the Air Chair and Sky Ski hydrofoils becoming the new kid on the block: Tony K was there….flipping his way to victories on the hottest ride on water. He is the Forrest Gump of towed Water Sports. He’s a one-of-a-kind character and a heck of a nice guy. And he’s still got more talent, dedication and passion than most kids half his age. On August 22nd, 2015, he embarks on yet another mission: ride 50 different things for his 50th birthday at Long Beach Marine Stadium, California.
